Calendar colors change

Hi all iPad users!

I got the new iPad 3 two weeks ago and i've noticed that it changes the colors of my subscribed calendars all by itself. I select the colors I like, and a while later they change back right before my eyes. That's dark magic or something. Is there any way to fix this?

Yes, it does this for some reason. Synced calendar usually keep their colors; depending on what service you are syncing with.

What service/sites are you subscribing from? You might be able to sync instead if it's Google.

I have three calendars. The first one is Google calendar which is synced and stays the same color. I have two subscribed calendars. One is automatically generated by a system at the university. The other one was created by me using PHP.

Well, this is more complicated, but should work if you want to go to the trouble.

Instead of subscribing directly on the iPad, subscribe to your other calendars in Google. Then set your Google account up as an Exchange account (link below). Once it is set up as an exchange account, on the iPad, visit the m.google.com (sign in if necessary), select the Sync app, select your device, and check each of the calendars you want.

This will display them as synced Google calendars instead of subscribed ones, and the colors should stick.
