Calendar - Custom repeat time for events

Does anyone know if it's possible to customize the time period that an event repeats, as it is in the Mac Calendar application ? (i.e. every 28 days or every 4 weeks)

It isn't as customisable as i think you want however, Pocket Informant is almost limitless in it's customisable repeats and it syncs with iCal.
