Calendar March 2013

March 2013 (in month mode only) keeps throwing me out every time! I've tried resets, closing apps, but makes no difference... Anyone else have this problem?

Check this thread out, Leelai, our esteemed colleague has posted the solution in it http://www.ipadforums.net/new-membe...tance/99915-ipad-calender-keeps-crashing.html

Hi, Archangel, I have the same problem and as I am in the UK I have the UK calendar holidays showing, i.e. Easter Monday/April Fools Day which both fall on April 1st 2013. I cannot find a way to delete these events or dedicate a time to them as suggested by Leelai. The only way I can view dates in March is to view by day or week mode. At least I can then see any important events during March that way. It is quite frustrating to find that no fix has yet been found for this issue. BTW your input & that of other contributors is very much appreciated. Happy New Year to you.

Go to this link http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/calendars/unitedkingdomholidaycalendar.html

Then hit the download button (highlighted)

You will then get a pop-up, just hit the subscribe button and hey presto, all those dates will appear in your calendar!

Thank you for the kind words.

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the UK calendar but still I have this problem......roll on April is all I can say....or a bug fix!

FWIW, this bug doesn't affect my iPhone 5.

BTW, this site http://www.icalshare.com/ has a gazillion different calendars that you can subscribe to for almost every conceivable country/sport/etc.

Word of warning, some of the calendars are out of date and not updated but to remove these it is just a matter of deleting the account in settings.

Just bear in mind that if you install the UK calendar dates you will have the problem of not being able to open the month of March. As I said, my workaround is to open March in Weekly mode then proceed from there, sliding to your desired date in March along the bottom of the page.

Although for some reason this doesn't manifest itself on all iDevices, it happens on my iPad 2 but not my iPad 1 or any of my iPhones.
