Hi there,
I am quite new to this and haven't posted on a 'public' forum before, but 'hello' to anyone who's reading this. Also, maybe you can help me with a calendar question.
I use the iPad calendar and love it. I am set up to sync with google calendar too. However, recently I seem to have acquired an appointment on my iPad calendar that I can't delete for some reason. When I open the appointment the options are different to other regular appointments and there is no option to delete. Does anyone know how I can delete it? I have tried going into my google calendar and deleting it there which was OK on google, but it is still showing on my iPad? Hope someone can help....

Cheers!

Tap the Calendar button at the top left. Are there are there any calendars listed other than your Google calendar? If so shut off each calendar one-by-one until you know what calendar the appointment is showing up in.

If the Google calendar is the only one, and you have deleted the appointment from Google already (but it still shows up in Calendar), give this a try.

Open your Google account in Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Turn off the Calendar sync. When the iPad asks you if you want to delete all events, say yes (don't worry, they will still be on Google). After it is done go to the Calendar app and make sure all your events are gone, including the stray one. If it is still there, go through the procedure I first mentioned and tell me what is there.

Now go back to settings and turn your Calendar sync back on. In a few seconds all your events will be back, hopefully minus the bogus one.

Yay!!
Thankyouuu!
I did the second thing you suggested...switching off the sync and then switching back on, and it worked. Thank-you so much...it has been driving me nuts because I couldn't move/delete them directly!
Much appreciated
:)

Thank-you!
It worked! I switched off the sync and on again, and they disappeared!
Big Thankyou for your help...it has been driving me nuts!!

And just to highlight my technological inadequacies...I have thanked you twice because it seemed that the first one didn't post...but then it did!

That's alright. I'm up very late here, so I might have missed it if you didn't thank me twice, and then tell me that you thanked me twice. :D

You're welcome.
