i no the ipad2 has a built in cam my question is can you use this to do cam to cam with other sites and does apple keep a record of you doing it

There are lots of apps that allow face-to-face video calls to be made on the iPad - such as Apple's Facetime and also Skype. As to whether they keep a record of the call, I have no idea - I suspect they keep a record that the call took place but as to the call content, probably not. But there are almost certainly other agencies that do....
