Hi. I just bought the Camera Connection Kit to my ipad2 3g 32gig, in addition to use it with my canon eos 7d. But i cant get it to work? is there a problem to use this with a camera that does not support sd cards? Both the sd card reader and the usb works great with other small cameras, but I can't get it to work with my Eos. Any suggestions?

What size is your memorycard? maby the size does mather? I guess you just plug the usb cable to the camera and it opens Images on the ipad without any problems? Standard formatting the mmc?

I can't even get my USB kit working with my compact Samsung w650 camera, scan disk 2GB flash & my HTC Desire S. Error message say that the device drawn too much power. Can anyone advise? Is the kit faulty?

I can read the full size / standard size RAW of my Canon 40d with the camera kit. 8 gig and 4 gig cards.

Probably not the problem then. Not all RAW is equal, but I imagine it's the same format throughout the Canon line. Or we can hope so.

It works on my Canon too, but it's an older model, EOS 20D, so I wasn't willing to use it as an example. I'm pretty sure Canon's RAW format has been updated since I got it.

Which leaves us with a mystery, still.

Hi. I solved the problem in a way last night.. I changed my memorycard from 16gb to 2gb, and then it worked just as i should. I know the USB have troubles with devices that draw too much power ie memorysticks with to great size and led lights and so on. Not sure how big the mmc possible could be, but 2gb worked fine, 16gb did not.
And this is EOS 7d with the latest updates and last raw format.
