In ios 8 tips it talks about the panoramic function in camera. On my IPad there is no such thing. WHY?

In ios 8 tips it talks about the panoramic function in camera. On my IPad there is no such thing. WHY?

For the iPad, only the iPad Airs and the Mini retina iPads have the panorama feature.

As to why, I can only point to Apple and say "that's the way they made them."

However, if you search for "panorama" in the AppStore, you will see there are a lot of apps available for download...
