I recently bought the Verizon version of the iPad 2 wifi+3G in Ohio.

I live here in Toronto, Canada.

I went to my phone carrier to purchase my iPad 3G plan and they told me they don't support the Verizon version. Something about Verizon being CDMA and the networks here are GSM.

I'm not familiar with all this but I really want to be able to use 3G here.

Is there anyway I can change my ipad so it's compatible with the GSM network here??

:(:(:(:(

Sadly, no. You will have to sell it and get the ATT version.

Not sure about Canada, but check for something like craigslist or eBay.

I can't seem to find a swap/trade up here in Canada.

it would make sense though. It would be no use for 3G user's up here.

any american friends tell me where I can trade/swap for an AT&T ipad 2 32G wifi-3G? I'd be forever grateful!
