Can I change the name of a folder

I have a few folders on my homescreen.
All my games are in one and it is named puzzles. I did not name it, when I put them all together that is the name the IPAD gave me. Can I change that name.
Also I have some web forums that I go to saved on my home screen, when I put them all together in a folder the IPAD named them bookmarks, can I change this name.
Thanks for any info.

Touch *and hold* any icon on the screen that contains the folder you want to rename. When they start 'jiggling' release the icon.

Now briefly touch the icon that you want to rename and a picture of the icon will appear with a text box below. You can edit the name of the icon.

Touch the 'Home' button of the iPad and you're done....

I can't quite figure out how to do it Tim's way, so I'll offer this. It might be the same thing Tim is talking about, and I'm just up too late for my brain to be working right.

Anyway, this is how I do it.

Open the folder, tap-hold an icon in the folder until they wiggle. The name of the folder will now be an editable text field. Just tap there and change it to what you want. It even offers a little x at the right to clear the name so you can start from scratch.

Be careful not to actually tap on any of the x's on the icons, or you'll delete the app. Not a disaster, since you can just go to the store and reload it, but inconvenient.

Tap the Home button to exit edit mode, and you are done.

I was up very early, so my brain had not quite powered up.......

If you want to avoid the chance of deleting an app you can set

'Settings', 'General', 'Restrictions', 'Deleting Apps', 'Off'.

You'll have to set up a passcode lock to put restrictions on, so be sure you remember what it is!
