Can I do this?

I have an IPad2 64gb on the way, it should be here next week. One thing I would like to do with this Ipad is be able to put a copy of a work form it then when ever i need to fill it out, I open it on the IPad fill it out with a stylus of my typing then save it as a new document....is this possible? What apps do I need to do this?

If it is a .pages, .doc or .docx file

you will be able to open it with Pages.
