can i send ipad2 to israel

i bought an ipad2 in germany,and wanna send to my friend as gift for her birthday, anyone knows if she needs to pay the duty in israel..?

You can send an iPad to israel, they were only temporarily banned last year in fear of the Wifi not meeting some regulations, but it was only a two week ban, so you should be allowed to send the iPad there.

Since you are sending the iPad outside Europe, is there a way of reclaiming the taxes you paid when buying the iPad in Germany? There should be, but not sure how you would do it when sending the iPad via post.
