Can iPad open .dat files

Hi. I'm a newbie. I receive some files in a .dat file format, but can't open them. Any suggestions? Roykie

You'll need a specific app that can handle the file type to be able to open .dat files, I just googled and got this



But there were plenty of other apps to choose from.

I have not received .dat on iPad, but install such an application in case I need some day.
