Can passwords/information be recovered after an Ipad reset? (Security question)

Hello,

I'm going to Best Buy today to return my Ipad 2 in exchange for an Ipad 3. I've only had the Ipad 2 about 20 days, and decided the 3 would be better on my eyes for reading my school books.

My paranoia involves resetting the ipad. I went ahead and did so, and it appears to be "brand new".

Is there a way the new owner of it in the future may be able to recover my email passwords/etc?

I know in Windows it can be done really easily, but I've never owned anything MAC

Thanks in advance!

Short answer. Absolutely NOT. Don't worry your passwords will not be compromised.
