Can we link our pads to a mac mini

We all have pad 1's n the family a cr** vista laptop and nice 46' hd tv. If we got a mac mini server could the
Pads link to it as tablet monitors and keypads, so we can access the mac rather than all need laptops? Would be a great way for the family to use a mac? With the tv for main use and streaming films etc.

Any ideas or hints for this. Sorry if its been duscussed but coul not see an obvious thread. Thanks
