Can you access sqlite from bash script?

Just wondering if a bash script can be used to access sqlite files stored on the iPad?

I guess this would be a question to programmers and developers! It has to do with adding pics to camera roll of Photos app on iPad 1.

I found a post where somebody was accessing sqlite3 from a bash script on an iPhone, so it should theoretically be possible on an iPad as well... but I haven't figured it out yet!

Anyways, here is my "camera roll" solution so far:
