Can you transfer downloaded e-books to the iPad?

Is there anyway to transfer a downloaded torrent of an ebook to the iPad?

Before I tried this with a random ebook I was curious about but the thing is when i extracted it from a .cbr file or something, the download was basically all the jpegs for the book in a row and it would let me transfer to the ipad.

It would be great someone can throw some advice on how to do this. Thanks!!

Your books need to be in Epub or Pdf format. Import them to iTunes on your host computer and sync the iPad.

You can do file type conversions with the free Calibre converter.

I download a large volume of e-book and never have any problem , but iVan say should be in : e-Pub of PDF format … after that in itunes you select : add to library in itunes and voila
