Cannot Add to Calendar and Contacts

Have just joined the forum having happily used my iPad for almost a year.

Have Just downloaded IOS 5 and find I can no longer add new entries to my Calendar or Contacts. Have I missed
Something.

Regarding your question...have you set up iCloud yet? If you're taking about missing the "+" button in Contacts, once you set up iCloud that should return.

EDIT: This thread discusses the same issue and it was resolved by enabling iCloud:
