Cannot Connect to Itunes Store....problem

This issue just came up. I get this message on my Ipad when I try to go to the store through the App Store button, and everything works except the Update tab....I cannot update any Apps. I get the "Cannot Connect to Itunes Store" message. I have done all the obvious things. Any ideas? Thanks!

I had the same problem with my iPhone recently. It lasted for a couple of days and then came good???
