Cannot connect to itunes store

For some odd reason my iPad cannot connect to the iTunes store, well it can but not allow me to update? I can re download apps purchased but can't do simple updates and I have googled this and there are all sorts of suggestions none of which have worked. A hard reset, have reset network settings turned wifi on and off, uninstalled iBooks and reinstalled. No luck

Please help!
