Cant connect ipad to netgear powerline xavn2001

An anybody help?

I've bought a netgear powerline kit to extend my wireless range to my garage office. My laptop connected in an instant but my iPad and iPhone discover the network but won't connect.

Anyone know why and what I can do to connect.

I've only tried the password route so far
