Can't play rented iTunes movies

Downloaded 3 movies rented from iTunes on July 4th. Tried to view each on 7/12. Each one had "Cannot play this movie" message, or something of that sort. Help, please.

Having the same problem...

Bought a HD episode:
It will not transfer to the iPad2; receiving error message ‘cannot be played on this iPad’.

(was downloaded from iTunes on the PC not the iPad)
