Can’t save photos from Flickr

Unable to save images from Flickr on my Ipad; I can save the same images on my pc. Is there a setting I need to change?

Is Flickr allowed to access your photos? (Settings - Privacy - Photos)

It doesn't appear that privacy setting are causing it. It won't save photos that are public while I can save them on my Windows laptop..

You can’t save someone else’s images from Flickr in the app on your iPad, if that’s what you’re trying to do. Just your own.

In all likelyhood your laptop’s browser is ignoring the privacy settings on the website.

The difference is the app, images will save using the website. I was after some steam locomotive shots from the first railroad I worked on. Thanks

No problem. Since Flickr has complete control of the app, they can make sure whatever download settings the owner sets are enforced. Web browsers, not so much.

If you think it is a mistake, try contacting the owners of the photos.
