Does anyone know of a case and cover, or just case that has something built in to it to attach a strap (neck strap) or lanyard to it. I need a way to keep the ipad secure when using a measuring tape. I cannot believe Apple has not added a way to attach at least some kind of lanyard straight to the device.
The best I've seen so far is from ModulR, but their cover does not look to attach to the case when not covering the iPad. If it did it would be almost perfect.

Second, is there a way to use the iPhone as a modem for the WiFi iPad (minus the 3G service). If so, why should I get the iPad-3G? At&T is my provider.
Trying to decide if I should spend the extra bucks for the 3G.
