I have read the reviews of Cassette Deck app by Molybdenum, found under Music on iTunes Apps but I am still confused.

This app lets you play music by filling the screen with the look of 1980's cassette player, but do it plays whatever music comes with the app only or is it supposed to let you access your music files on your iPad which you downloaded with iTunes, and play them with the look of the cassette player?

I had a friend who was really keen on that app but couldn't figure out weather to get it for the same reason.
Have you figured it out by any chance?

Not yet as I do not have an iPad. Will be getting my own iPad in about a week or two as my own Xmas treat.

I'm tempted to download this app ever if I still don't know if it plays your iPod tracks on your iPad or it comes with its own collection of 80's music and see what happens.

If I had figured it out, I wouldn't have posted this message in the first place, would I?

Once I get my own iPad and when I get a chance to download this app (I have a list of a dozen important apps that I really want to have that I wish to download first) and if I get to figure out which music tracks it can play, I'll try to get back to you and let you know, so you can let your friend know.

I have not downloaded the app, but it does not seem to be getting glowing reviews so I am not in any great rush to part with 99¢! And I don't think it comes with any music, but rather plays the music already on your iPad.

You posted this question three days ago. He asked you if you found a solution yesterday. Although, it seems you did not ~ it was possible you could have in one day.

It's not like he posted 5 min after you asked for assistance.

You have a point

I still don't have an iPad yet, hope to get one in about a couple of weeks time. I've mention about it in my message "Why I want an iPad..." in the new members topic. Until then, I'm reviewing apps and making a list of what I would like to download into "my" iPad when the time comes, all I can do is try to read details about any apps that interest me or get a chance to see them in action on YouTube, and post questions here.

I've downloaded it, and it do plays your MP5 tracks from your iPad's iPod files, it was really designed more for iPhone and iPod, but you can use the x2 button to fill it up on the iPad's screen. Almost very life-size as far as I can see. Still trying to figure how do I pick whichever tracks I want to play as it plays any tracks at random.
