Cellular Data

My cellular data has been turned off on my Ipad and my iphone for several weeks. When I turn it on will all the messages that I didn't receive that were sent to me during those weeks all come through and be applied to my data?

Just your data plan, or your phone plan all together?

SMS text messages would not have been stopped by losing just the data plan, since they go out over the basic cellular service.

I'm not sure about iMessages, which uses Apple's servers. But unless there were a lot of picture attachments they would hardly be noticeable on your data plan. Text takes very little data to send and receive.
