change page header colour?

ok, have to accept Im sadly stuck with this IOS7 "upgrade" on my ipad 3 but can anyone tell me why the page header ( search bar - address bar I dont know its correct name!) has turned black? Last night it was white!
Doesnt really bother me but Im wondering how I did this? Seems a lot of the previous featues have gone now & its a steep learning curve - ( trial & error mostly!)

I guess you have enabled Private Browsing in Safari.
Close all the tabs to show your favorites.
There's "Private" (bottom, left) in Safari. When you tap it, everything will turn back to normal.

hmmm, no private button here in safari! ( I have ipad3?) Ive closed all the tabs but just have a blank screen now -no "favorites"

In Settings - General, did you by chance enable Restrictions?

nope, I still dont see your first picture but mine looks exactly the same as second one apart from the address bar area being black instead of white! In settings restrictions ( whatever that means!) are set at "off"

If it looks like this, then you have to tap the x here, or open a new tab:

to get my first picture (or something similiar), so that you can turn off Private Browsing.
