Hi, I set up a password for the restrictions on my Ipad 2 and now I want to change the password
I changed it already in the password lock location but I can't seem to get rid of the old password
for the restriction panel.
Please help, I'm sure there's a way to get rid of that old password.

In Settings, go to General/Restrictions. Input your password as required, then hit Disable restrictions.

If you then hit Enable restrictions, the iPad is asking you to supply a new password, which you will have to repeat to turn on restrictions.

When you turn off restrictions, your old password is already gone.

The lock password is not the same as the restrictions password.

I have forgotten my restrictions password? Who knows how I can reset it?

There are some posts - use google - that have instructions for finding the restrictions password in a backup file on your PC using a third party utility. I'm not sure they work on current versions of iOS.

There is no supported way to recover this information.

Resetting the device is the only way to get rid of this I'm aware of.
