Change the song ...

Hi ..
Is there a way to move to next song or the previous when we are using the hands free of the iPhone ...?

Depends on your headset. Some have forward/back buttons, some don't.

Double clicking the center (pause) button on the standard Apple headphones will skip to the next song. A tripple click will go to the previous song.

Hi I use the one which I got for my iPhone 3GS ...
The middle one pauses .. But double click doesn't go to the next song nor the triple click move it back ..

Can other members pls throw some light .. Does it work for u guys .?

Yup! I've just tried it. I've got an iPhone 4 one and I'm using iPad 3.

What iOS version are you on? That might make a difference.

Also, the clicks have to be fairly rapid.

No need to close the thread. You never know if someone else might stumble along with a better idea.

Still, sometimes you just have to solve the problem yourself. Life is like that. If you do find a solutions it's always greatly appreciated if you come back and share it. Another reason to leave the thread open.

Best I can manage here is to suggest double pressing your home button while on the lock screen. This will bring up your audio controls and you can skip tracks without supplying your Passcode.

Not ideal, but better than trying to unlock and navigate apps at 70 mph.
