I posted my note last october and did not receive any answers as of now.
I presume that it is not possible to delete a thread otherwise someone would have answered !

Not sure if the thread starter can delete threads, as I've not started one.... Yet

But mods can delete threads

Look at the very top menu of the ipadForum page you will see "user CP".
It's the 6th options from the HOME option.
After you choose edit avatar.
I will try to include an image of it.

Thanks...discovered what I was doing wrong was I needed to be on the browser page and not thru the iPad app.
