Changing Name on Ipad Email???

Hello! I have a brand new Ipad. I sent an email to someone and the following was included with email I sent (but not written by me):

"On Jul 3, 2012, at 3:30 PM, Mary withering ton wrote"

That is not my name and I need to change it but I dont know where it was pulled from.... It's Mary Witherington

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars/your email account/Account You will see Name at the top. That's where you change the name. when finished tap Done and then done again. Your finished.
