changing order of songs on playlist

I have an ipad air. Is there anyway I can change the order of the songs? I tried shuffle but it doesn't seem to shuffle them whilst playing. many thanks
oops...just did it in itunes....so just ignore this question, thanks

You can do it on the Air screen:

There should be an 'Edit' option on the top left corner of the screen (above the song icons)..

Tap that and you'll see a red ball with a circle through it on the left side of your songs and three flat lines on the right hand side.

The red ball is for deleting a song. The three flat lines on the right are for moving them. Put your finger on the three flat lines and slide the song up or down. It will move as you do this.

Once finished, click 'Done' which is located on the same line as 'Edit' was near the top above the artist name.
