Charging ipad 2

Hi,

Why does my ipad2 power up when charging?. I would like it to stay powered off while charging. Any suggestions?

Your question bothers me as well. Can anyone help? Is there a way to keep my device powered off when charging?

Yes, the iPad will turn back on when you plug it in. However, does it stay off if you turn it off AFTER you plug it in? I'm trying to answer this myself (using my Mom's iPad) and, so far, it still off...

Maybe that's the "trick"?

Yes, it stay of if I power off after I plug in the connector. I hoped there was a setting where I could customize this behaviour. Thanks
