Charging times????????

I've had my New iPad for a couple of months now and I can honestly say that the charginging time to fully charge it are totally awful, the battery lasts for a long time but when it comes to charging it the wait is around 8-10hrs. Is there any way of making my device charge faster, I close all apps even those running in the background?

Unfortunately, that's the way it is. The battery is big and so it takes a long time to charge. To get the best results, make sure you are using the charging block and USB cable that came with the iPad and don't use it while it's charging. You might also think about having it turned off while it's charging...

Also, try to charge it over night. That way, you won't notice the time passing and it will be fully charged the next day.

Also, don't let it charge all the way down before topping off the charge. Mine doesn't take 8-10 hrs, though, more like 6. You need to be sure you are using a charger that can put out 5v @ 2.1 A.
