Can you download chinese books (written in chinese) on the IPAD in the USA?

There are books written Chinese in the iBook Store. It was a chore to find them though. There is no way of filtering for language, so you must know the title you are looking for, or just search for Chinese and wade through the mismatches.

I don't know how many books there are. The one I found first was a free Project Gutenberg version written by Laozi. I can't tell you any more, because I can't read Chinese.

There are also books as apps in the App Store. Look under the Books category. Again, searching is going to be a pain, since there is no language filter.
