Configurator doesn't recognise all iPads

I'm responsible for the iPads in my school. So far, we've got 22 32GB Airs and 6 64GB Air 2s in Griggin 10 bay multidocs all connected to a Mac Mini which is acting as a server

The current bugbear is that Configurator 2 only "sees" 17 iPads. Usually in the order they're plugged in, but sometimes it will drop one and recognise another.

The iPads are all supervised, with blueprints setup for either teacher or student ipads. The blueprint makes no difference to recognition.

Ideas anyone?

Have you tried Apple's support pages and forums? Here's some search results from both. If you can't find what you need you can ask your own questions. I believe Apple also has an Educator support page or two tucked away somewhere.

Thanks. I hadn't, but I'll go through them properly - can't see anything at first glance. I've contacted Griffin for advice.
I did see a reference to another query, limiting newer mac books to 25 usb devices and I wonder if there is a limit on mac minis?
