Hi !

I recently bought an ipad for my "technophobe" dad. He can barely send a text message from a phone so an ipad is a step up. As easy as it is to use i would love if i could find an App that will allow me to connect to his ipad from my PC.
I believe teamviewer and LogMeIN will allow iPad to PC connection but dothey or any other App allow connection to ipad so i can guide him through what ever he is trying to do remotely?

Thanks for any suggestions.

Don't know that much about it but I'll try and do more than refer you to the instruction manual. Haven't tried it but from what limited info I've found it seems the only way to do what you want may be to jailbreak and install something called "veency". That may be a more techy solution than you're looking for. It would be for me. ;) Some discussions on the topic:

A youtube video describing how to do it:

As the other posters have commented, it is not possible for a PC or another iPad to control your Dad's iPad. The apps in an iPad are isolated - Apple calls this 'sandboxing' - and this means that one app cannot control another - except in a very limited manner and strictly under the control of the iPad's operating system, iOS. So, unfortunately, it will never be possible for a Developer to write an app to do this.

ANy idea fow to realy get files from nb to ipad2? Bluetooth, usb cable...?

One word - Dropbox (or other cloud based storage or NAS).

Unless that notebook is also your iTunes PC, then you can transfer via iTunes file transfer.
