Connecting ipad(third) to internet Via PC

Dear Friends,

Can you please help me in connecting ipad to internet via Lappy's wifi ? .......... and y doesn't "Connectify" work properly .. takes a lot oftime ........

Is your laptop broadcasting a WiFi signal (as in, is it creating a hotspot)? If there is no signal being put out by the laptop, the iPad can't/won't find it. And, you can't connect the iPad to the laptop (with a USB cord) to get the connection. The iPad can only "see" wireless WiFi signals.
