copy thunderbird adressbook to Windows and IpadIpad

hello

I want to copie my thunderbird contacts to the I pad.
theirfore I must copy it to windows adresbook (WAB) first
exporting in thunderbird adresbook as an LDIF file does not work.
who can help
OS is windows xp prof.

Hi - I sync my Thunderbird contact list via my Google account using the Google Contacts Thunderbird add-on.

My Google contacts then sync to my iPad. Works for me and is pretty seemless and means that I don't to export anything manually to keep everthing up to date.

It also syncs Contacts added on my iPad back to Thunderbird.
