Cydia on 4.3.5 Jailbreak not working at all on iPad 1!

So I just updated my iPad 1 from the original 3.2 firmware to 4.3.5, and tried out the Redsn0w tethered jailbreak. However, when I try to launch the Cydia icon (which is blank white for some reason) for the first time, Cydia will always crash and never start (reverts back to the home screen). I've tried reinstalling the Redsn0w multiple times, but to no avail. Can anyone lend a helping hand here? Thanks!

Did you point redsn0w at the 4.3.4 firmware? That seems to mess up a whole bunch of people.
