Passion can be such a force that it transcends the boundaries of life and death. Especially if it flows from a young and hopeful soul, one that had such great dreams. This is the case of Andrei or how friends called him “Mili” – a programmer from Bucharest, Romania who was the biggest Apple fan you could stumble upon.
He had high hopes of finishing college and then going on to work for the Cupertino tech giant. However, fate didn’t smile on him and he was taken from his parents and friends way too early. He died at 21. Andrei graduated from high school with honors and had one of the highest scores for his final exam. His true passion was programming, so he enrolled in the University to study Mathematics and Informatics.
He was fascinated with Apple and the story of its founder Steve Jobs and he desperately wanted to be part of this world. In his honor, his parents decided to add a monument on his tombstone, to showcase the passion that fueled his life. So they painted the Apple logo on his headstone.
They also carved a very emotional message on the monument: “Our sun, our hope, you are with us every second, we are with you every second. You are the champion!”
His cause of death was not shared at any of the sources we could find.
