Default password...

I listened to the wise words and changed the default password for something less memorable.

Yep, you guessed it, now I can't remember what I changed it to!

Question #1. Does it matter? Will I need it for anything? (ok, that was two questions)

Question #2. Does restoring your iPad revert the password to the default?

I know, I know... I really am this stupid!

are you talking about the default SSH password?

if so, just uninstall openSSH and reinstall it to get it back to the default password.
