Deleating mail

The only way I have found to delete mail is one at time with the trashcan icon.

I added an little used email account that has 100s of unwanted mail items. Is there any way to delete a lot of emails at once?

In the Mailbox, click Edit just above the list of emails. Then you can select any emails, then in the bottom left, there will be a red button to "Delete selected items"

The only way I have found to delete mail is one at time with the trashcan icon.

Have you noticed that if you wipe the mail with your finger, it can be deleted this way as well. Easier way.
