Hi. Is there a way to retrieve photos that were lost when I sync'd my ipad2 to a new laptop and it deleted them. Some were in camera roll and others in a photo app. Any help much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! Sorry to hear about the photo issue. There are actually a number of threads discussing this subject. A quick Google search (upper right-hand corner of every page) turned up several that should help you out...
