Deleting all emails in folders or accounts "junk" "trash" & deleting all texts

How can you easily delete ALL emails or texts from ipads & iphones? Why dont they just add a 'delete' to the screen where you can edit folders?? Does anybody know why apple wont add a 'delete all' to texts or emails....seems incredibly shortsighted.

BTW-I meant adding a 'delete all emails' button...the page already has a delete folder button

Boy I'd pay some serious money for a e-mail app that allowed me to delete my daily e-mail with one simple Tap... Because I have NOT found one to do that I now do not even have any e-mail apps set up on either my IPad or Iphone....

Even finding an app one that did not download mail UNLESS I specifically asked it to would be nice ...
