Deleting contacts

i cannot seem to delete contacts. I hit edit, then no red square appears at the contact name. I can delete the addy but not the names?

After you hit edit scroll to the bottom of the entry you want to delete, there is a delete option there.

Select the contact you want to delete, then tap the edit button and scroll all the way to the bottom of the page and tap the "Delete Contact" button.
