Many were expecting Apple to unveil the much-rumored iPad Pro at its WWDC keynote, but that didn't happen. However, there were plenty of hints which were at least suggesting that Apple is currently working on a iPad stylus, which has always been associated with a larger-sized iPad.
Now, according to information coming from Taiwanese iOS developer Hiraku Wang, it seems that the current iOS 9 beta contains references to a few upcoming products and features, such as the next-generation Apple TV, the "iPad Pro," and new options in Photos.
According to the developer who found the string of codes, the 12.9-inch "iPad Pro" could have a 2,732×2,048 pixels display at 264 PPI based on Apple's @2x high-resolution modifier. Another developer, Steve Troughton-Smith, discovered that the next Apple TV set-top is expected to have access to the App Store.
Rumor has it that Apple is set to release the updated set-top this fall which could be accompanied by a TV subscription service, as well. The same developer discovered that the new iPad keyboard on iOS 9 beta is capable of scaling to a larger size with rearranged keys, which further suggets that Apple could be planning to release the much-rumored 12.9-inch "iPad Pro" in the future.
