Download TV shows from iTunes

I have recently purchased a TV series from iTunes via my iPad.

In iTunes, my downloads show that I have 22 downloads available.

How do I download them from iTunes to my iPad?

For the life of me I cannot work out how to download them. All shows display the word 'processing' under them however they never fully download.

Help. I am travelling tomorrow and this was going to be my relaxation time abroad!

I have the red icon with '22' still flashing at me but no processing apparently occuring.
