Downloaded apps that are not visible

On Friday I downloaded a bunch of free education apps from McGraw Hill. I did it one right after the other. When I went to find them by flipping through they were no where to be found. I went to the search bar and searched "education" and they all came up in that window, but still failed to show up in a normal window. I have searched every folder and every window and found nothing.
Where did they go?? Can I recover them?

Are you downloading them first of all to your PC? Why not try downloading them directly to your iPad? Or have I misunderstood the problem? When you refer to 'window' it was that which made me think you were downloading these apps first of all to your PC.

Yes, I was not clear in that description. I did load them first to the iPad and they did not show up immediately. I was, however, able to get the problem corrected after another sync with my iTunes account.
