Downloading music to ipad directly

I was just wondering if there was a way to download an mp3 file straight to the device and add it to the ipod app on the ipad. I have the safari downloader and ifile if that helps. Im really hoping there is a way to. Thanks in advance.

The latest version of ifile (1.6) can be linked to dropbox, therefore if you have your mp3 files in dropbox you can copy them direct to the idevice with ifile.
