Downloads go where?.!?!

I use FTP To Go and want to view a file. So I download the CSS page to edit it.

Where is it????

I'd ask FTP to go for itunes on where it saves a local copy of the file

You can't "just download" a file on the iPad; there is no central file location. The iPad is app-centric, not file-centric. To do what you wish to do, you need an app that can read the web site (and save the CSS file for later editing/uploading).

The app itself should have its own storage area, accessible through the app. Could be called Downloads, or Inbox or Local Files, something like that.
